Job Description
This is a newly created role and this strategic role is aimed to develop and grow the business for the automotive luxury division. Other responsibilities include:
Strategic leadership and management:
- Leading the team to achieve company objectives, including market share growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of managers and employees across various functions, including production, sales, and customer service.
- Fostering a positive work environment, encourage teamwork, and drive employee engagement.
- Managing excellent stakeholders management both local, and with the global team.
- Developing and executing sales and marketing strategies to increase the company's market share in the luxury automotive sector.
- Building and maintain relationships with customers, dealerships, and other key partners.
- Working closely with the sales team to ensure the achievement of sales targets and the expansion of the customer base.
- Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to adapt marketing strategies.
- Ensuring the positioning of the brand within the market through innovative strategies.
- Preparing and managing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for the automotive division.
- Monitoring P&L (Profit & Loss) statements to ensure the division is meeting financial goals.
- Identifying and implement financial strategies to maximise profitability.
- Ensuring exceptional customer service standards are maintained, both in terms of sales and after-sales services.
- Implementing customer feedback mechanisms to improve the overall customer experience.
- Overseeing product development and design, ensuring alignment with market trends, customer needs, and company objectives.
A successful General Manager should have:
- A strong background in sales, particularly within the luxury automotive sector
- Education degree from reputable university.
- At least 15+ years of working experience in similar sector, and from commercial background
- Comfortable working with sales-target
- Demonstrated the ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams both local and global
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities in Bahasa and English
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations
- Proficiency in multiple Asian languages
