The Business Development Manager is responsible for expanding our company's reach within the hospitality industry, particularly by acquiring new sales leads, developing strong client relationships, and building a robust pipeline of hotel and property partners. This role plays a key part in driving the growth of our business and ensuring the company remains competitive by proactively seizing sales opportunities in a dynamic market.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Acquisition
- Identify, build, and acquire new business opportunities with hotel and property owners through proactive outreach, networking, and market research. Develop a comprehensive understanding of potential client needs to tailor effective sales strategies.
- Client Relationship Management
- Establish, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement. Act as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact to clients, resolving issues, providing insights, and ensuring ongoing support.
- Market Analysis & Sales Strategy
- Stay informed on local and regional market trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities. Use insights from market analysis to adapt and refine sales approaches and identify key areas for growth in line with company goals.
- Sales Materials & Proposal Development
- Prepare, refine, and present persuasive sales materials, including proposals, presentations, and contracts, that clearly communicate our value proposition to clients. Collaborate with other teams to ensure alignment with our offerings.
- Sales Target Achievement
- Meet and exceed established sales targets by consistently developing new client leads, expanding our market reach, and fostering long-term business relationships. Regularly monitor progress and adapt strategies as necessary to achieve goals.
Requirements:
- Educational Background
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Experience
- Minimum of 2 - 3 years of business development experience within the hospitality or related industry, with a proven track record in canvassing, generating leads, and closing deals.
- Skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence client decision-making. Must be focused, self-motivated, and goal-oriented, with a strong ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Adaptability
- Able to quickly understand and respond to market dynamics, client needs, and changing sales opportunities.
- Availability
- Open to joining the team immediately.
