We seek a passionate and driven Business Development Lead to join our team. If you’re a go-getter with a street-savvy knack for spotting potential clients and users, have a strong sales or marketing background, and thrive in a start-up culture, we want to hear from you. In this role, you’ll take ownership of driving business growth by expanding our user base, building strategic partnerships, and spearheading key initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Client & User Acquisition: Identify, approach, and convert new business opportunities for Counsely, including freelance users and potential B2B partnerships.
Market Research & Strategy: Conduct thorough research to identify market trends, new potential client sectors, and growth opportunities. Develop and implement strategies for business expansion.
Sales & Marketing: Collaborate closely with the marketing and sales teams to execute campaigns, refine outreach strategies, and meet company targets.
Team Collaboration: Work cross-functionally within the team to align business development goals with product innovation, user experience, and overall company objectives.
Start-Up Spirit: Demonstrate adaptability, and hands-on problem-solving, and contribute to a collaborative, high-energy work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably in a start-up or similar related environment.
- Ability to identify and act on new business opportunities with a strategic, entrepreneurial mindset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders.
- Results-driven, with a passion for meeting and exceeding targets.
- Eager to learn, grow, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork spirit and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is a plus.
