About

The Global Payment team of Bytedance provides payment solutions - including payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, reconciliations, and so on to ensure that our users have a smooth and secure payment experience on ByteDance platforms including TikTok.

Responsibilities:

Growth & Solution

  • Manage P&L and actively identify opportunities and build strategy for optimization.
  • Drive discussions with cross-functional teams to execute initiatives and projects to drive overall country performance
  • Setting up targets and monitoring achievement of new initiatives and improvements to achieve goals, including course-corrective actions, if necessary
  • Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders, including product, tech, marketing, legal, finance and customer support, and also other businesses within the group to ensure seamless project management.
  • Manage the COD feature and strategy


Marketing

  • Develop and execute customized payment marketing campaign plans in collaboration with all Bytedance businesses such as eCommerce, Live Streaming, Advertisement etc. These campaigns will be tailored for each partner to enhance engagement and accelerate transaction growth.
  • Utilize 360 marketing channels including website, email marketing, social media, events, and content marketing, and collaborate closely with the User Growth team
  • Manage the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and partnership activities, leveraging insights to optimize future strategies and communicate ROI to stakeholders
  • Continuously monitor market trends and the competitive landscape to pinpoint opportunities for new or expanded partnerships
  • Foster strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and initiatives


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Good knowledge of payment processing, banking regulations, and e-commerce industry trends.
  • Proven ability to gather and analyze data, generate insights, test hypotheses, identify root causes, and develop actionable plans.
  • Strong research, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in measurement, performance, and optimization tools.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • People management experience


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in the payment industry
