Technical Sales Manager Oils and Fats

Key Accountability

  • Responsible to grow oils and fats business by providing technical recommendation on how to implement/integrate enzymatic technology in relevant plants
  • Develop account plans to facilitate strategic discussions and identify Must Win Battles, support and resources needed, competitor threats, etc.
  • Pursue business development opportunities with holistic approach: up selling and cross selling

Basic Qualifications

  • M.Sc/B.Sc degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or relevant fields with minimum experience of 10+ years in relevant field
  • Industry experience in refinery, biodiesel, oleochemical, specialty fats plant
  • Experience working with engineering companies in Oils and Fats industry
  • Experience working with enzymes will be an excellent added advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Be a strong communicator and a dynamic, pro-active personality
  • Thrive on challenges and enjoy working proactively with other groups within and outside the organization
  • Must be able to travel within SEA
  • The ideal candidate will have a background and experience from palm oil processing: refinery, biodiesel, oleochemicals, specialty fats
  • They should be skilled to aggressively grow and develop the business with key accounts, being able to address local technical support needs and achieve sales targets.
  • The person should possess a strong ability to develop business opportunities and customer relationships in the responsible industries, identify competitive threats at accounts and follow-up on planned measures.
  • The successful candidate will also need to have excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills with an ability to navigate within a dynamic matrix organization.
  • The successful candidate will be challenged with the complexity of key account management balancing local technical support together with commercial skills and being a part of a diverse multi-cultural regional team.
