Job Opportunity: Legal Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring the Group’s legal interests are protected while supporting its commercial objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law, regulatory compliance, and risk management, combined with exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Draft, vet, and negotiate agreements, including distributorship, sales, and marketing contracts, to support business goals while ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.
- Provide timely and effective legal advice to the Group in Indonesia, balancing risk management with commercial objectives.
- Highlight and assist in managing legal risks effectively to align with the Group’s interests.
- Support the creation, standardization, and implementation of company policies, terms & conditions, internal procedures, and operational guidelines.
- Protect and manage the Group’s intellectual property assets and proprietary information.
- Oversee corporate secretarial functions, manage corporate secretarial agents, streamline processes, and ensure compliance.
- Assist with litigation and dispute management, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external counsel as needed.
- Stay updated on legal and regulatory developments and share relevant insights with the Group.
- Monitor and administer key contracts, ensuring obligations and undertakings are met.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Law, Master’s Degree is a plus, from a reputable university.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in prominent companies and/or law firms.
- Extensive experience in drafting and reviewing legal documents in both English and Indonesian.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively, manage heavy workloads, and meet deadlines.
- Holder of an advocate license.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Indonesian and English.
- Strong research, analytical, and administrative skills.
