PT Kreasi Indah Alam is seeking an experienced and proactive Assistant Plant Manager to support the Plant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and maintaining high product quality in our cosmetic production facility.

This role includes managing quality control, equipment maintenance, safety protocols, and research and development, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The Assistant Plant Manager will track KPIs, analyze data, and provide training programs to enhance operational efficiency and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the testing of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products is conducted according to specified standards, guaranteeing compliance with desired specifications and quality standards.
  • Maintenance Coordination Oversee routine maintenance and servicing of production equipment to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime.
  • Quality Compliance: Ensure all products meet established quality standards and comply with cosmetic industry regulations regarding raw materials, production processes, and final products.
  • Reporting and KPI Monitoring: Check daily, weekly, or monthly reports on production performance, raw material usage, and project progress, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify improvement areas.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) res in alignment with applicable standards.
  • Research and Development Support: Manage activities related to R&D of new cosmetic products, formula innovation, and the development of efficient production processes, ensuring high quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Training and Development: Design and conduct training programs for factory employees to ensure they understand safety standards, quality requirements, and operational procedures.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (Apoteker), Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

-At least 2 years as a Responsible Pharmacist (preferred).

-Minimum 3 years of experience in the cosmetic or manufacturing industry, with supervisory or managerial experience preferred.

Technical Knowledge:

-In-depth understanding of cosmetic production processes, industry regulations, Halal, CPKB, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards.

-Knowledge of K3 or OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) procedures.

-Proficiency in production software is highly valued and will support success in this role.

Skills:

-Strong leadership and team management abilities.

-Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
