SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
Set up, manage and execute technical investment projects with high focus on HSE and quality, within the allocated budget and time. Cooperate with General Manager, Steering Committee and Technical and Purchasing functions in HQ and Region to ensure that new investments are built and can be operated according to Jotun standards.
This position will be reporting to Managing Director and will be based in Bekasi, Indonesia.
Responsibilities:
- Manage projects so that new technology investments are designed, constructed, and delivered with the correct quality according to Jotun Standard.
- Ensure that all procedures in Jotun’s investment stage gate process are followed.
- Ensure that the project organization has enough resources and that sufficient quality assurance from Group or regional functions is provided.
- Ensure that contract management towards consultants and contractors is handled according to Jotun standard contract requirements.
- Ensure that Jotun’s policies and local laws, procedures, guidelines , and agreements are followed.
- Monitor progress and cost development throughout all the phases of the project.
- Responsible for risk management.
- Report status regularly , including deviation , and suggest corrective actions to the steering committee.
- Responsible for HSEQ within the area of responsibility.
- Initiate, drive, and follow up continuous improvement activities by utilizing the Jotun Operations System.
- If the role has subordinates: Lead the team in line with Leadership Expectations and tools to develop, coach, and guide its members to ensure a workforce that is competent, engaged, and enabled to meet Jotun’s current and future needs.

Required Qualifications
- 5 - 9 Years Relevant Experience.
- Holds a Bachelor/master’s degree.
- Experience in Project management within design and construction of factories, buildings and infrastructure/utility is essential.
- Technical competence in several engineering disciplines is essential.
- Thorough knowledge in execution projects best practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with proven ability to work across functions and together with business units
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional communication and writing skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia is a must.
