1. Mine Planning and Data Management:
- Create and manage mine planning data according to the requirements for RKAB & RKTTL presentations at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM).
- Review and assess monthly and annual exploration plans.
- Review routine exploration reports, including weekly and monthly reports, as well as final project reports.
- Monitor and evaluate results from mapping, drilling, logging, sample analysis, and geological modeling of drilling.
- Monitor and assess changes in the geological drilling model with updates on mine openings.
- Oversee the production data process, including logsheets and Material Movement within the Ellipse system.
- Monitor the closing reports of the system, covering material movement logsheets and inventory stockpiles.
- Review input data on coal getting and overburden processes.
- Plan topographic mapping for Pit Development expansion.
- Develop cost mining plans.
- Review and assess detailed quarterly mining sequence plans.
- Monitor the implementation of contractor mining sequences.
- Receive and review daily, weekly, and monthly reports on contractor sequence realization.
- Bachelors degree in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a related field. A Masters degree would be an advantage.
- Preferably a graduate from a reputable university, ideally from the class of 2004.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of relevant experience in coal mining operations, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Proficient in mine planning and engineering software.
- Strong knowledge of geological modeling, mapping, and analysis.
- Experience with production data systems like Ellipse.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Relevant certifications in mining engineering or project management would be beneficial.
