Job Summary:

The role general responsibility is to research and recommend various investment opportunities to a company and its executives. They do this through much research and data analysis. Much of the research is into a company's financial capabilities and the investment risks, possible profits, and other factors.

This role requires someone comfortable in the entrepreneurial environment as the company develop our business, combined with the analytical and creative strengths required to implement investment strategy. Meticulous attention to detail, ability to think critically, and an execution-oriented, positive attitude are key attributes we look for. Excellent written and verbal communication competencies are required for interacting with clients, third parties, and firm leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and assess potential investment opportunities through research, analysis, and networking.
  • Screen and evaluate investment proposals for strategic fit, financial performance, and growth potential.
  • Develop and maintain financial models for investment evaluation, including projections and valuations.
  • Conduct detailed financial statement analysis and assess various financial and operational scenarios.
  • Perform comprehensive due diligence, including legal, financial, and operational aspects.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel, auditors, and other professionals for risk evaluation.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes.
  • Provide in-depth industry analysis to support investment decisions.
  • Prepare detailed investment memoranda and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Clearly articulate investment theses, risks, and potential returns.
  • Monitor the performance of portfolio companies and provide regular updates.
  • Analyze financial statements and operational metrics to assess portfolio health.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, directors, and external advisors.
  • Collaborate to ensure seamless execution of investment strategies.
  • Maintain relationships with limited partners and potential investors.
  • Prepare, amend, and negotiate Term Sheets.
  • Stay informed about regulatory changes and ensure compliance.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field. Advanced degree (e.g., CFA, MBA) is a plus.
  • Prior experience in investment analysis, asset management, investment banking, management consulting, legal structuring, legal drafting and/or a related role.
  • Legal knowledge (prior internships in law firms is a plus).
  • Fresh Grad or <2 Years experience.
  • Basic understanding of Indonesian law and contract law.
  • Good understanding of financial management, investment analysis, financial modeling, and business valuations.
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting due diligence and performing in-depth financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in using financial analysis tools and software.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
