Deputy Manager Factory

Passion Jewelry, a renowned Jewelry Retailer located in Alam Sutera, Tangerang, Indonesia, is seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Deputy Manager Factory to join our Manufacturing Department. As a Deputy Manager Factory, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operations of our production facility, overseeing various aspects of manufacturing processes to maintain efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Factory Manager in daily operations and strategic planning.
• Manage and monitor production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of products.
• Implement and maintain Lean Manufacturing principles to optimize processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and mentor production staff to enhance their skills and performance.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards and quality control measures.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to maintain smooth production flow.
• Handle employee relations and address any production-related issues promptly.
• Work closely with the safety team to uphold workplace health and safety standards.
• Prepare regular reports on production metrics and performance indicators.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the jewelry industry or similar manufacturing roles.
• Proficient in Continuous Improvement methodologies and Lean Manufacturing practices.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems.
• Strong background in production planning and on-time delivery strategies.
• Proven experience in employee development and team management.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Fast learner with a proactive and problem-solving attitude.

• Experience working with ERP systems for production management.
• Certification in Supply Chain Management or Production Planning.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma principles.
