Job Description
Overview:
As a Clinical and Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our orthopaedic products in the Indonesian market. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective clinical and marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, drive sales, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Affairs:
- Develop and execute clinical strategies to support product launches and market penetration.
- Collaborate with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals to build strong relationships and generate clinical evidence.
- Manage clinical trials, research studies, and publications.
- Collaborate with relevant teams on handling adverse events.
Marketing Strategy:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to promote orthopaedic products in the Indonesian market.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify target segments and understand customer needs.
- Develop marketing materials, including product brochures, presentations, and advertising campaigns.
- Manage marketing budgets and track ROI.
- Actively set the target, monitor and pursue the growth and improvement of market share.
- Continually monitoring portfolio trends and actual product performance against forecasted sales.
- Tracking the division’s OPEX & CAPEX budgets with quarterly reporting requirements.
Sales Support:
- Provide clinical and technical support to the sales team.
- Responsible in ensuring the standard of excellence of product and clinical knowledge and skill of the field team.
- Conduct product demonstrations and trainings for healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with sales representatives to identify new business opportunities.
Customer Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including hospitals, clinics, and distributors.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly and effectively.
- Provide post-sales support and customer service.
Marketing Events & Professional Education:
- Plan and collaborate with Transmedic Group Orthopaedic Regional Marketing Manager and Digital Marketing team to optimise the participation in events in Indonesia.
- Lead and assign the event team to work on the technical details in the timeline and logistics.
- For Professional Education: responsible in assessment, planning and execution including but not limited to setting up advisory panels, faculty liaison, curriculum development, resource management, driving attendance, coordinating with HCP and internal staff.
Qualifications:
- Degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 (three) years of experience in the medical device industry, with a focus on orthopaedics.
- Strong understanding of the Indonesian healthcare market and regulatory landscape.
- Excellent organizational, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills, as well as presentation and negotiation skills.
- Having strong leadership and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Highly motivated and result-oriented individual with a passion for orthopaedics.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (written, oral and presentation), with Mandarin as an advantage.
- Daily work from Jakarta office and willing to travel.
