Job Responsibilities
- Cost saving oriented
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate: contracts, prices, delivery schedules etc
- Responsible for evaluating suppliers or vendors periodically
- Make updates supplier databases, purchasing records and related documentation periodically
- Manage daily purchasing activities related to construction projects
- Ensure that all goods purchased meet the required quality standards and specifications
- Control the release of goods and use of goods
- Control the budget for purchasing materials related to the RAP Project
- Control and monitor project expenditure (cost expenses) reports
- Control and organize material and man power requirements
- Control the placement and storage of materials (warehousing)
- Control data on incoming and outgoing goods from the warehouse to the project
- Coordinate with inventory control to determine, collect data and manage inventory needs
- Support the estimator team regarding prices for project bids
- Monitoring PPBP & PO
- Make price comparisons for each material and service requirement
- Create and maintain the library of procurement such as list of supplier & vendor classification
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree
- Minimum 5 years in procurement interior & construction experiences and/or relevant work experience in Design & Build businesses
- Knowledge of procurement processes, policies and procedures
- Excellent in communication and negotiation skills
- Needs to be resourceful, innovative and proactive
- Good command in English (spoken and written) is a plus point
