  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Dekoruma is currently in the look out of finding potential candidates to join our team as the Senior Product Designer who has specialty in Furniture Design and willing to work from our Head Office in West Jakarta.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years experience in furniture design or related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Interior Design, or a related field.
  • Strong portfolio of design work.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Sketchup, AutoCAD, Adobe or other similar tools
  • Ability to interpret design brief/requirement and translate into product design.
  • Ability to read and understand production shop drawings by interpreting specification.
  • Excellent knowledge of materials, finishes & manufacture processes.
  • Able to communicate in English fluently.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and develop new furniture designs
  • Responsible for creating pattern design & color trend suggestion for home living goods.
  • Create detailed sketches and 3D models of furniture pieces.
  • Collaborate with the buying team to ensure designs are feasible and practical.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and materials.
  • Incorporate feedback from stakeholders into designs.
  • Preparing Buying Brief proposals every 6 months.
  • Ensure that all designs meet quality and safety standards.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously.
  • Participate in design reviews and critiques.
  • Provide technical support to the buying team.
  • Attend Furniture events and trade shows to stay informed about new developments.
