Our client is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to spearhead the strategy and execution of their productivity programme at a new snack manufacturing factory. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver significant support for the business through process improvements and efficient operations. The successful candidate will partner with function leads in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, with a strong emphasis on people development, performance accountability, and cultural transformation.
As a Continuous Improvement Manager (FMCG), you will be instrumental in leading productivity and continuous improvement initiatives within the Supply Chain organisation. Your role will involve managing the overall productivity project portfolio, driving the implementation of these projects, and directly leading critical ones. You will also be responsible for leading the capability building programme to enhance and sustain the technical knowledge of the operations team. Additionally, you will manage Supply Chain performance & productivity reports and related executive presentations. Your role will also involve leading the digitalisation agenda in partnership with IT, co-leading the sustainability (PEP+) agenda, and supporting EHS system and ISO system.
The ideal candidate for this Continuous Improvement Manager position brings a wealth of experience in manufacturing operations along with substantial leadership experience. You have a proven track record of delivering results by managing multiple successful major cost improvement projects. Your experience in managing cross-functional projects in a multicultural environment will be highly valued. You possess strong financial acumen and solid analytical skills, enabling you to make effective trade-off decisions. Your understanding of Lean Six Sigma/TPM/TQM or similar set of skills is robust. You have broad business understanding and cross-functional interface, including experience outside core supply chain functions. Your excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills at all levels, across functions and business units, particularly with senior leadership, are exceptional. You have demonstrated people leadership skills with the ability to develop, motivate, empower and coach managers within the organisation. Your experience in creating reports through Power BI, Ms. Excel, and other tools will be beneficial.

- A bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations include 5+years of substantial leadership experience across manufacturing
- Solid evidence in delivering results managing multiple successful major cost improvement projects
- Experience in managing cross-functional projects in a multicultural environment
- Strong financial acumen (P&L) and solid analytical skills to enable effective trade off decisions
- Strong understanding of Lean Six Sigma/TPM/TQM or similar set of skills
- Broad business understanding and cross functional interface, including experience outside core supply chain functions
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills at all levels, across functions and business units, particularly with senior leadership
- Demonstrated people leadership skills with the ability to develop, motivate, empower and coach managers within the organisation
- Experience in creating reports through Power BI, Ms. Excel, and other tools
- Willing to be based in Cikarang
