The Pre-sales Specialist will be responsible to support the cloud sales team in selling cloud infrastructure (IaaS) and applications (SaaS) products/services.
Responsibilities:
- To become a subject matter expert in assigned IaaS and SaaS products/services
- To prepare and present product presentations and proposals
- To plan and perform demos and POCs
- To develop technical scenarios and use cases
- To build and maintain relationships with products/services partners
- To understand customer requirements and map to available solutions
- To perform sizing and pricing calculations
Job requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Technical Sales (e.g. as technical customer success manager, consultant, pre-sales, enterprise architect or equivalent)
- Preferably at least 3 years of experience as pre-sales for any IaaS platforms (e.g. AWS, GCP, MS Azure)
- Good understanding and hands-on experience with any IaaS and SaaS
- Certifications with any IaaS as pre-sales, technical or solution architect
- Understand the sales, distribution, and channel management process for cloud solutions
- Good proposal writing skills and good command of the English language
- Experience in MS PowerPoint with good presentation skills
- Able to perform costing and pricing analysis with good knowledge of Excel
- Possess analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor degree in engineering, computer sciences, or a related field
