Currently INDICO is expanding its business in Agritech and Agribusiness named DFE - Digital Food Ecosystem (https://www.dfe.co.id/en). DFE presents an integrated value chain of agriculture, empowering farmers to boost efficiency and productivity.

As the Agri Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and operational of farm/site/factory to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with all regulatory requirements while also overseeing the operational of production. You will manage various aspects of site development including planning, execution, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee daily operations of poultry management and processing factory, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Manage supply chain logistics on-farm poultry broiler & egg and palm sugar factory.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve production efficiency and quality control processes.
  • Monitor and evaluate production performance metrics, establishing KPIs to measure success.
  • Train, mentor, and develop the operations team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operational goals with the overall business strategy.
  • Conduct audits and assessments to ensure the operational procedures align with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and manage budgets for the operations department, ensuring appropriate resource allocation.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management regarding operational performance and areas for improvement.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering and/or animal husbandry.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in operations management, specifically in poultry and/or food processing industries.
  • Experienced in opening new farm/site/factory.
  • Strong knowledge in poultry broiler and egg is a plus.
  • Understand industry standards, operational, food and safety regulations, and practices.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale infrastructure development projects successfully.
  • Strong knowledge of local regulations and environmental laws pertaining to site development.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration and reporting.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that is results-oriented.
  • Good understanding/has experience in livestock and/or food certification processes.
