The Position
This position leads the deployment of the Lean Six Sigma program for the Manufacturing site (Rx/Mass)
Major Responsibilities
- Encourage the manufacturing plant towards breaking the barrier & challenging the status quo.
- Develop a strong interface with each Head of Department.
- Strategy alignment with the Head of Lean Six Sigma Rx/Mass in terms of workshop plans, supports needed, competency development, etc.
- Leads the execution of the roadmap, goals & overall deployment plan of Lean Six Sigma for the manufacturing plant.
- Execution & support of continuous improvement projects & cost savings for the manufacturing plant.
- Ensure the use of standardized Lean Six Sigma methods, tools & training materials.
- Training, coaching & mentoring employees in the implementation of Lean Six Sigma methods & tools.
- Conduct Value Stream Mapping (VSM) Workshops, Kaizen Workshops & Kaizen Events for the manufacturing plant.
- Collaborate with the Head of Lean Six Sigma Rx/Mass on goals setting & projects identification.
- Leads the manufacturing plant Lean Six Sigma Best Practices sharing & Gemba Walks.
- Develop future Lean Six Sigma experts.
- Support the manufacturing plant in meeting the Quality, Costs & Delivery KPI targets.
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Industrial) or equivalent.
- MBA degree will be an added advantage.
- Subject Matter Expert and Hands-on experience implementing Lean in manufacturing.
- Experienced in leading the Lean deployment for a factory.
- Excellent communication and presentation skill, able to interact with all levels.
- Lean certified will be an added advantage.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English language.
- At least 5-8 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
