Key Responsibilities
- Develop a high performing Indonesia logistics organization by creating a psychologically safe environment where personnel can perform to their potential.
- Instil and exhibit DSM-FIRMENICH values in day-to-day operations.
- Instil a continuous process improvement mindset in the Indonesia logistics organization.
- Ensured logistics execution within budget and in a compliant manner (Safety, Quality, and Business Process).
- Design, Develop, and Implement innovative logistics solutions that enable business growth in the respective markets.
- Support and implement Global/Regional initiatives in the region.
- Drive bottoms up continuous process improvement initiatives resulting in a cost effective and cost-efficient logistics operations.
- Effectively manage the performance of service providers (Customs Broker, External Warehouse Service Provider, Warehouse Service Provider, and Transportation Service Provider)
- Establish and drive Monthly Business Review (MBR) and Quarterly Business Review (QBR) with the respective service providers to ensure associated performance indicators per Service Level Agreement are met and drive CAPA in the event of non-conformance.
- Foster win-win collaborative partnership with service providers to ensure a cost effective and efficient, agile, and resilient logistics operations.
- Ensure that the agreed Service Level Agreement with the Business Units are fulfilled.
- Establish a robust, seamless, and flawless logistics execution process to ensure Customer Satisfaction.
- Engage in the S&OP meetings hosted by the different Business Units.

- College or university graduate, MBA, or supply chain management master preferred.
- Goods command of English both oral and written.
- APICS certification is a plus.
- 6 Sigma certification is a plus.
- Customs certification is a plus.
- More than 10 years of working experience with a multi-national environment.
- Experience in different domains of supply chain management such as sourcing, purchasing, supply chain management or logistics management.
- Experience in project management is a plus.
- Experience in managing geographically and culturally diverse organization.
- Ability to organize, lead, and manage a diverse team.
- Ability to manage ambiguity.
