Position Overview:

The Learning & Development Manager will play an important role in the team to ensure creating a comprehensive and dynamic learning environment that supports the continuous development of employees and the success of the business.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in learning, talent development, and organizational development. The role will also require someone who is confident to facilitate and host learning initiatives independently across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learning & Development:
  • Design, implement and own learning and development initiatives that promote continuous growth, new employee programs, people/team development, and the cultivation of future talent pipelines.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and leaders to create tailored learning programs addressing business needs and driving employee performance.
  • Evaluate and incorporate modern learning methodologies, including digital learning platforms and experiential learning opportunities, to enhance engagement and learning stickiness.
  • Co-facilitate coaching and mentoring programs to enhance managerial and leadership effectiveness.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve development programs based on feedback and performance data.
  • Talent Development:
  • Co-deliver talent development strategies, including succession planning, high-potential talent development, and leadership pipeline development.
  • Work closely with performance management team, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving meaningful employee development.
  • Leverage HR data and analytics to support data-driven decision-making in talent assessments and workforce development.
  • Capability Development
  • Assess current organizational capabilities and design programs to close skill gaps and build future-ready capabilities.
  • Lead initiatives to upskill and reskill employees, ensuring alignment with evolving business needs.
  • Technology and Tools:
  • Leverage technology and AI to enhance talent development programs, including content creation, digital learning platforms, and other digital tools.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in learning and talent development.



Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering effective learning & talent development programs, preferably in Tech, Telco or FMCG or other fast-paced industries.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with strong knowledge in learning, talent development, organizational development, or a related field.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks and manage stakeholders effectively.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Workday Learning, LinkedIn Learning and content creation.
  • Certification in instructional design / talent development / HR development will be a plus.
  • Confident in facilitating programs independently across the region using English as the main language.
  • Excellent self-awareness, communication, interpersonal skills and great team player.
