Our client is a leading global payments firm who are working with a major bank in Indonesia on a comprehensive transformation project aimed at improving operational excellence and enhancing product and process efficiencies across multiple workstreams. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to elevate the bank's operational standards and drive significant improvements across various business functions. To support this transformation, the client is looking for a Business Consultant with experience in managing complex projects within the banking sector, specifically in Indonesia.
The role is based full-time at the client site in Jakarta, South Jakarta, and will span an initial contract of one year, with the potential for renewal or conversion. The consultant will be integral in aligning project milestones with the client’s high standards for pace and urgency, contributing to the bank’s goals of achieving streamlined processes and an optimized operational framework.
What you will be doing
- Collaborating with the bank’s project management team to drive various transformation workstreams, with a primary focus on product, process improvement, and operational excellence.
- Acting as a primary point of contact, facilitating client-facing discussions, and maintaining high engagement levels with the bank’s senior stakeholders.
- Contributing to the design and execution of strategies to improve operational processes, focusing on banking products and services.
- Ensuring that deliverables meet project timelines, quality standards, and adhere to the client’s procurement processes.
- Understanding and adhering to the fast-paced project cadence, demonstrating a strong sense of urgency to meet client expectations.
Your background
- Experience Level: 3-5 years in a consulting role
- Essential Skills:
- Strong consulting background with demonstrated client-facing skills.
- Ability to operate within fast-paced, high-stakes environments with a sense of urgency.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is mandatory, given the client and team interactions.
- Familiarity with the Indonesian banking sector, including regulatory and operational practices.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a structured, process-driven setting.
- Experience working on transformation projects within the financial services sector.
