EKRUT is currently assisting a client, a leading global supplier of high-quality tool steel and other related services (steel manufacturing) based in East Jakarta. Their product range includes high-quality tool steel, steel for components, and specialized materials for industries such as automotive, electronics, packaging, construction, offshore, and recycling.
Responsibilities:
- Design, optimize, and review internal controlling reports (e.g., contribution analysis).
- Deliver required information to MD and Regional HQ as requested (comparison of actual vs. budget, deviation analysis, to provide a solid data foundation for challenging all parties involved).
- Build, implement, and enforce comprehensive company-wide controlling policies that cover all aspects of the business, including production controlling.
- Identify and develop required improvements and initiate relevant projects.
- Ensure state-of-the-art information as a basis for restructuring measures.
- Cooperate and coordinate closely with the MD of the company and the Group Financial Controller.
- Carry out bank and cash management, as far as not handled in cash pooling by the parent company.
- Implement Treasury guidelines prescribed by HQs in Singapore and Austria.
- Preparation and monitoring of the investment budget in coordination with the MD and Group Financial Controller.
- Lead the pre-acquisition phase & PMI-process.
- Control expenses and monitor cost centers at the company level.
- Ensure correct implementation of IT processes as per group guidelines.
- Lead IT department at the company level in accordance with Group Policy.
- Preparation of legal documents as per local legislation.
- Ensure all accounting and bookkeeping processes are in place.
- Ensure delivery of financial/annual reports.
- Control and monitor the cash situation and secure company liquidity.
- Lead the higher-level finance function, including coordination of the entire financial system (balances, accounting) of all branches.
- Ensure strict adherence to Group Accounting Standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting
- 5+ years of business experience in Finance
- Comprehensive expertise as a Finance Manager/Controller with experience in management and leadership of medium-sized companies
- Excellent knowledge of finance instruments, especially IFRS and local accounting guidelines
- Experience with similar customer structure (group to small tool-making corporate background)
- Experience in managing a team
- English: Advanced (written and spoken)
- IFRS, Integrated Cash Management System (ICMS)
- Import/Export data (SPA R3, SAP BOFC)
- Competence in tax issues
