The Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Manual Tester to join their team for a banking/finance/IT services project. This role is essential for ensuring quality in their application development processes. If you’re detail-oriented, skilled in manual quality control, and comfortable communicating with clients in English, we’d love to hear from you.
The Responsibilities
- Manual Testing: Conduct thorough manual testing across various application areas to ensure that all requirements are met. A background in automation testing is a plus.
- Client Communication: Communicate directly with clients in the US to understand requirements and provide feedback.
- Requirement Analysis: Read, understand, and analyze project requirements to design and implement effective testing strategies.
- Test Case Development: Create comprehensive test cases based on project requirements, covering all aspects of functionality and performance.
- Test Execution: Execute test cases, including functional, smoke, and regression tests, and document results for continuous quality improvements.
- Test Planning and Reporting: Prepare detailed test plans and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- API Testing: Basic understanding of API testing to support backend validation processes.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in manual quality control, with experience in automation as a plus.
- Communication Skills: Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with US-based clients.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in writing test cases, running various types of tests (regression, smoke, functional), and preparing test plans and reports.
- Detail-Oriented: Excellent attention to detail, with a methodical approach to problem-solving and debugging.
