Some of your duties will include:
- Responsible for overseeing the IFMS (Infrastructure, Facilities, Maintenance and Services) technical support team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality maintenance support services. This role involves managing maintenance support operations, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with other departments to improve processes.
- Provide technical knowledge to maintenance teams in compliance with government and OEM standards.
- Provide new methods or processes to improve current business maintenance practices.
- Undertake maintenance planning, scheduling, and inventory material tracking.
- Manage and monitor storage of purchased items.
- Allocate planning of infrastructure maintenance and all necessary resources required to accomplish for Infrastructure maintenance activities.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the technical support team to deliver exceptional service.
- Oversee and manage the resolution of technical support requests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, deliverables, and timelines.
- Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues and provide advanced troubleshooting support.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the team is equipped with up-to-date knowledge.
- Develop and document technical standards, processes, and procedures.
- Develop and maintain support schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
- Plan and coordinate support activities in alignment with company goals. Implement and monitor adherence to support policies and procedures.
- Utilize SAP for tracking and managing support activities and resources.
- Monitor and control costs associated with the technical support function. Prepare and present cost reports and forecasts to senior management: Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective purchasing practices; Monitor expenditures against the budget and implement cost-saving measures where possible; Prepare cost reports and forecasts related to procurement activities; Implement asset management processes to monitor the lifecycle and utilization of technical assets; Ensure that purchase orders are accurate and reflect agreed-upon terms and conditions; Monitor order status and ensure timely delivery of goods and services; Prepare cost estimation (owner estimate) of all planned projects in detail items and scope of works; Controlling cost estimation against overall budget planned in periodical basis as in the BP (monthly, quarterly, semesterly, yearly); Monitoring actual spending budget against planning of each and all projects against allocation in detail specs, variances, deviations in weekly to monthly basis.
- Implement best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on team performance.
What skills and experience do you need?
- A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or any related discipline(s) with 18 years’ experience in Project Management and Maintenance infrastructure experience are necessary.
- Must have had minimum 5 years’ experience in Managerial roles related to project infrastructure, planning, scheduling, project control, and cost control as Manager Planning & Cost Control/ Manager Technical Support Services.
- Possess strong knowledge of OEM manufacturer’s maintenance standards, planning, leading a team, SAP, cost control, and scheduling.
- Have substantial experience in the Domestic, light industrial construction industry and in particular facility maintenance; Must have Project infrastructure knowledge on building (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Piping / Plumbing);
- Have middle level operational inspector certificate (POM) or qualifications certificate recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of position;
- Strong leadership and organizational, scheduling & time management skills; Ability to work both independently and as a team player and thrive in a fast paced, high pressure environment dependent on managing multiple project timelines and schedules simultaneously; Ability to communicate well, and work productively with internal and external individuals; A commitment to safety and a desire to maintain our Indonesian mining operations to world class international safety standards; Demonstrate strong conceptual skills, and capable of developing lateral and practical solutions; High level of integrity and commitment; Good analytical, conflict resolution, sound decision making skills;
