Responsibilities
- Handle all cases arising out of various disputes, collection and provide the necessary support to various stakeholders in the resolution process.
- Draft various dispute notices, claim letters, and other correspondence promptly and effectively
- Develop and implement strategies to effectively manage litigation cases
- Conduct case assessment, risk identification, and determine appropriate courses of action.
- Maintain excellent communication and collaborate with internal stakeholders, including senior management, to provide updates on the ongoing litigation matters.
- Participate in settlement negotiations and other alternative dispute resolution processes to protect the business interest of the organization.
- Proactively coordinate and maintain relationships with external legal counsels as well as government authorities
- Ensure the accurate and timely records of litigation activities by maintaining a litigation tracker with exceptional attention to detail
- Stay abreast of legal developments, industry trends, and regulatory changes that may impact the business
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law from a reputable university
- Minimum 4-5 years of working experience at a law firm or multinational companies. Experience in litigation and tech companies would be an advantage.
- Strong communication skills, with the capability to communicate complex legal concepts to both legal and non-legal audiences.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Capable of managing multiple cases efficiently and ensuring deadlines are met
- Fluent in English both written and verbal
- Occasional business travel is required
- Having an Advocate License (PERADI preferred) is a plus.
