As a Manual QA Engineer, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the quality and usability of our software products. Your focus will be hands-on testing, designing and executing test plans, and working closely with development and product teams to identify and resolve issues before release. This role is ideal if you enjoy finding ways to improve software functionality and performance, with an emphasis on manual testing practices to deliver a smooth user experience. Responsibilities:
- Design, execute, and manage test plans, cases, and scripts for effective manual testing.
- Perform comprehensive testing across functional, regression, performance, and usability aspects.
- Document and manage software defects in a tracking system, ensuring quick resolution.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Provide insights during design and code reviews, supporting overall product quality.
- Automate repetitive tests to enhance efficiency and test coverage.
- Analyze and report test results, communicating key findings to stakeholders.
- Ensure QA practices align with industry standards and best practices.
- Continuously refine QA processes and methodologies to improve team productivity.
- Maintain high-level requirement coverage and scenario testing with tools like Cucumber-JVM.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Software Design, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance Engineering roles.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies and QA’s role in the software lifecycle.
- Skilled in creating test plans and cases for comprehensive feature coverage.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills; business-professional English proficiency.
- Quick problem-solving abilities with adaptability.
