Role Descriptions
As Industrial Relation Specialist, you will be responsible to manage and create harmonious labor relations that can creates harmonious workplace. Not limited on that, as Industrial Relation Specialist, you will be responsible to manage company policy's, procedure, and compliance that related to labor relations issues, handling case resolution, and managing employee services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Labor Relation management.
Responsible for employee relations matters, including grievances, disputes, and disciplinary actions. Negotiate and administer Collective Labor Agreement (CLA/PKB), ensuring compliance with legal requirements and organizational objectives. Implement employee relations strategies to maintain a harmonious workplace. Coordinate regular LKS Bipartite Meeting. Coordinate and maintain regular communication with labor union.
- Policy Development and Compliance.
Coordinate with line manager to enforce company policies, procedures, and collective labor agreements (CLA/PKB). Stay informed about changes in labor laws and regulations and ensure organizational compliance. Coordinate with Manpower Office and ensure on time and completed government reports. Provide training for line managers and employees on labor relations issues and best practices.
- Case Resolution.
Investigate and resolve employee complaints, conflicts, and disputes in a fair and timely manner. Mediate discussions between management and employees to address concerns and reach mutually beneficial resolutions. Maintain accurate records of employee relations cases and ensure confidentiality. Provide guidance and support to managers and supervisors on handling difficult employee relations issues.
- Employee Services
Coordinate with employee services vendor such as medical insurance (inpatient and outpatient), company doctor, sport venue, medical checkup provider, third party provider, etc. including support for administrative process of PR/PO/Expenses to ensure employee services are well established.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- Having at least 5 years or more of experience in industrial and employee relation.
- Strong team player with ability to interact with all levels of staff in the organization.
- Fluency in English (speaking & writing) is a must
- Having strong negotiation skill and interpersonal skill.
- Detail, persistence, analytical thinking, team player and strong integrity.
