Strategy Consultant will join the SPD (Strategic Planning and Development) team, an internal management/consultancy department composed of ex-management consultants from top-tier consulting firms.
Description
The Strategy Consultant role is responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans, conducting market and competitor analysis, and driving growth and innovation initiatives to ensure the organization's long-term success.
Responsibilities
• Strategy Planning - Lead the development of the organization’s mid to long-term strategic plans. Consisting of, conducting extensive market research/internal interviews, identifying new business opportunities, and providing innovative recommendations that drive growth and profitability.
• Playfield Monitoring - Conduct comprehensive market activity monitoring to understand industry trends, customer preferences, and market dynamics. Derive insights to inform strategic planning and decision making processes.
• Strategic Initiatives and Project Management - Spearhead strategic initiatives and manage projects from inception to execution. Ensure initiatives alignment with the company’s overall strategy and goals. Monitor progress, handle potential issues, and ensure timely completion of projects.
• General Support (collaboration and communication) - Work closely with various internal departments, including Marketing, Sales, Production, and Finance, to align strategic initiatives and drive company wide adoption of plans.
Qualifications
Education
o Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Strategy, Marketing or related field (MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred)
Professional Experience
o 1~3 years of experience at a management consulting firm with focus on growth strategies, new business strategy, portfolio strategy, GTM (manufacturing industry background preferred)
Skills
o Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (Native or fluent), demonstrated fluency in both informal conversations and formal business interactions.
o Ability to interpret market trends and translate them into actionable strategies.
o Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
o Proficiency in quantitative analysis, data interpretation, and ability to utilize numerical information to inform decision-making and problem-solving.
o Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
o Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of driving projects from inception to completion.
o Proactive and creative mindset, consistently seeking new ideas, solutions, and approaches to drive innovation within the organization
