Job Brief:

The Compensation & Benefits Supervisor oversees the company's compensation and benefits programs' planning, development, and implementation. This includes managing payroll, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and administering employee benefits to attract, motivate, and retain top talent. The role involves analyzing compensation data, designing competitive benefits packages, and supporting overall HR strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement compensation strategies, including salary structures, incentive plans, and bonus programs.
  • Supervise end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Review and validate payroll data, including new hires, terminations, bonuses, allowances, and deductions.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and company policies regarding payroll and benefits administration.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information and recommending corrective actions.
  • Manage the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
  • Prepare regular reports on payroll costs, benefits utilization, and compensation trends.
  • Identify opportunities for improving payroll and benefits processes and systems.
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders to implement system enhancements and process efficiencies.
  • Stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in compensation and benefits administration.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience, including payroll processing experience, compensation & benefits planning, development, and implementation, as well as managing team member(s).
  • Strong knowledge of payroll software and HRIS systems (e.g. Talenta/ Workday/ SAP/ ADP/ Darwinbox, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace (especially Excel or Google Sheets).
  • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and tax laws.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Professional certification is a plus.
