BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

Provide overall business directions and leadership that will formulate and execute sales strategies sales initiatives to achieve optimum results. They are responsible for formulating and executing sales strategies, guiding the team to achieve target metrics, and establishing strong relationships with clients and partners. They also serve as the link between their team and the available resources within the organization to support the achievement of business goals and objectives they have set for their team. They are also responsible for the ongoing development and motivation of their team and in aligning them to our core values.

This position will be part of Core Country Leadership Team Human Health who will be working closely with the HH CLT as peer of the Business Unit Director/Head and Country Function Lead

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide overall sales strategy and direction.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies; create and execute effective sales plans to meet the company's revenue and growth targets.
  • Utilize market research and analysis to identify opportunities and trends to capitalize these opportunities to grow the sales.
  • Getting involved in the formulation of the BU’s sales long-range and integrated operations planning.
  • Setting broad directions for salesforce implementation of these programs
  • Lead strategy for Sales Force Effectiveness by working closely with commercial operations to ensure the salesforce effectiveness metrics are achieved to support the business continuity by doing a continuous assessment on sales team territory area optimization across business unit to maximize productivity and optimize costs.
  • Develop and Direct the effective sales business operation, operation effectiveness & excellence, by working collaboratively with commercial operations and business unit for overseeing the daily operations of the business (Sales, Marketing, CFTs) to ensure that it runs efficiently and achieves its strategic objectives. Efficiently managing resources such as ex-company planning and supply chain inventory by optimizing the overall resource management and identify and manage the operational risks to protect the business from potential disruptions. This includes developing contingency plans, assessing vulnerabilities, and implementing strategies to mitigate risks.

Ensure optimum allocation and utilization of resources.

  • Monitoring the sales expenditures versus budget; approves planned sales expenses.
  • Analysing sales and market share data at the franchise unit level to develop plans that will maximize sales.
  • Making recommendations for adequate resourcing of major marketing programs and core initiatives
  • Ensuring return on investment.
  • Analyse and plan of resource requirements. Negotiates and agrees budget and manages expenditure against it.

Improve and align the performance of Sales Team

  • Conducting regular performance discussions with direct reports and ensures this happens in all levels.
  • Holding regular business review meetings with the team
  • Communicating organizational goals, objectives, and policies to the members of the team
  • Ensuring the success implementation of career planning and development at business unit level; participates in assessments for development of sales team
  • Ensuring team synergy and motivation within the business unit (eg., by undertaking team development programs)
  • Working with Business Effectiveness team to build functional competencies of team, identification and delivery of training and development requirements; ensures successful transfer and application of newly learned skills at the workplace.
  • Ensuring optimal hiring standards are maintained in the recruitment of all members, including PMs, SMs and PMRs.
  • Enforcing company policies and standards within the franchise and business unit and metes appropriate corrective measures where necessary.
  • Ensure that the activity and performance of staff are aligned with the organizations and department’s objectives. Develop employee’s capability and competence, evaluate performance, and create an environment conducive to performance optimization.

Drive the implementation of market, product, and service strategy.

  • Working closely with Business Unit to ensure the alignment of all marketing strategy implementation field force promotional activities with marketing strategies.
  • Monitoring the high-level implementation and effectiveness of promotional activities
  • Ensuring that marketing programs are responsive to customer needs and the changing market landscape.
  • Tailoring implementation of programs to seize identified opportunities and to address needs.
  • Drive the implementation of the product/market strategy including associated campaigns, monitor, review, and revise implementation effectiveness

Qualifications, Skills, & Experience

QUALIFICATION & SKILLS

Education Level

  • A degree in Business (Sales/Marketing) or relevant subject or fields

Experience & Skills

  • At least 10 years as Sales and/or Marketing Lead experience preferably in pharmaceutical/healthcare industry.
  • Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
  • Strong Leadership skill, open minded, positive attitude& having growth mindset.
  • Able to work collaboratively & cross functionally.
  • Strong enterprise leadership skill & having entrepreneurial skill
