Job Summary:

The Product Manager is responsible for the strategic planning and execution of product initiatives throughout the entire product lifecycle. This includes defining product vision, conducting market research, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and other departments to ensure successful product launches and ongoing product management.

Role Description

  1. Regulation Research & Homologation Management: Conduct research and interpretation of automotive industry policies, vehicle and component level regulations in the Indonesian market, and convey regulatory and policy information to the development team; Carry out local vehicle type certification work to ensure that new cars can obtain government approval and be launched on time;
  2. Marketing solution define and management: Benchmarking and analyzing internal and external marketing policies and activities of competitors; Collaborate with the headquarters' product marketing team to develop marketing plans for our own products, ensuring their superior competitiveness in the market; Carry out clue management, analyze the reasons for victory and defeat, develop clue management plans, and improve the success rate of clues;
  3. Market Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape. Analyze market data and customer feedback to identify opportunities and unmet needs. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities.
  4. Product Strategy & Management: Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with overall business objectives. Prioritize product features and development initiatives based on market needs and business goals.
  5. Product Lifecycle Management: Monitor product performance, gather customer feedback, and analyze key metrics. Identify areas for product improvement and implement enhancements. Manage product lifecycle, including phasing out older models and introducing new ones. Operate and manage connectivity product.

Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in automotive product management, a big plus if with a proven track record of driving strong sales and market penetration for new product launches.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of the automotive industry and market trends. Excellent product management skills, including market research, product planning, and product launch execution. Proven ability to define and launch successful products.
  • Indonesian and English can be used as working languages;
