Job Description:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
  • Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills in students.
  • Design lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and ensure learning outcomes are achieved.
  • Continuously review and adjust lesson plans based on student progress and curriculum requirements.
  • Participate in curriculum improvement and departmental planning.
  • Design and administer tests, quizzes, and other assessments to evaluate student progress.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback on student performance.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of student grades and attendance.
  • Offer additional support to students who require extra help with mathematics.
  • Encourage student participation and engagement through individual and group activities.
  • Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement.
  • Attend workshops, training, and other professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share teaching strategies and improve the learning environment
  • Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Implement and enforce school policies and procedures.
