Work you’ll do
As an Analyst in the M&A Transaction Service team, your role involves analyzing financial data for companies targeted for sale in due diligence engagements with investor group and corporate buyers. You'll prioritize teamwork, emphasizing quality, shared responsibility, and effective communication with manager / partner in the engagement team. Additionally, you'll support the growth of junior team members and exhibit strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and attention to detail.
General tasks and roles in the position:
- Assist in improving technical proviciency of the junior members
- Work in a project team for service clients in a variety projects
- Write / review financial reports documents and analyse financial data
- Communicate effectively to all levels of engagement management
- Balance multiple engagements and responsibilities, as well as project engagement set up and keep project engagement files organised and up-to-date
- Assist with practice development activities including attending marketing events, training programs and networking with colleagues across Deloitte.
- Participate at meeting with client or target's management as well as to prepare the development of client presentation, proposals and sales pitches
- Prepare internal documents regarding project engagement clients, working papers and engagement acceptance procedures
- Develop your expertise in a specialization and your reputation as a Deloitte financial advisor

Requirements
- Bachelor of Accounting/ Finance/ Business from a reputable university local or overseas, with minimum GPA of 3.00
- Professional qualifications such as CFA, FRM, ASIA, CPA, CA and CMA, will be advantageous.
- Advance skills in English correspondence, report writing and presentation.
- For Analyst: min. 1 year of relevant working experience in M&A environment which involve capability in understanding working papers, financial statement, trial balance, bookkeeping process including transaction due diligence.
- Auditor /Advisor in Big-4 / investment banking and Private Equity Experience and background would be an added advantages.
- Excellent business diagnostic, analytical and logical skills.
- Advance in financial statement analysis
- Advance use of Microsoft Power Point, Excel, and Word.
- Strong commitment for working in a challenging professional environment.
- The ability to work independently, unsupervised with attention to detail.
- Adhere professional attitude and willing to develop junior members of the team to ensure their career development.
- Willingness to keep continous learning and challanged to adapt in dynamic situation.

- Willingness to travel as required by client service engagements and to work at the office or client premises as needed.
