Job Overview

The Head of Commerce will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow Tentang Anak’s online marketplace. This role requires a deep understanding of e-commerce trends and the ability to create and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets. You will oversee the entire marketplace operations, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches, promotions, and partnership growth.

Key Responsibilities

Marketplace Strategy Development & Execution:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketplace strategy to achieve sales and growth targets.
  • Identify and prioritize new business opportunities, market trends, and consumer insights to drive marketplace performance.

Sales Growth & Revenue Management:

  • Set and manage sales targets, ensuring consistent revenue growth across product categories.
  • Drive online sales by optimizing pricing strategies, and promotional activities.

Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee end-to-end marketplace operations, ensuring smooth processes and resolve any marketplace-related issues.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Utilize data to track marketplace performance, identify trends, and develop insights that inform strategic decisions.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to understand the market landscape and refine strategies accordingly.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing commerce team to achieve business objectives.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Comprehensive experience in ecommerce store management (promotions and operations), platform management (joint promotions), affiliate programs, live shopping, and platform advertising
  • Experience managing sales in ecommerce channel ≤ IDR 25 Billion/month
  • 10+ years of experience managing e-commerce platform from FMCG, retail, or beauty brand
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketplace strategies that drive revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Deep understanding of e-commerce platforms and tools.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
