Overview:
Channel Distribution is responsible for developing new channels and driving adoption of fintech solutions through the distribution network of core telco business, agent, digital, telesales and other promising channels. They will need to work hand-in-hand with core telco distribution team to manage a network of agents/resellers within a specific region and mobilize them in order to scale-up the adoption of fintech solutions. They will be responsible to design an efficient process that enables seamless integration of the fintech ecosystem with core telco network (outlets, agents, digital, telesales .etc). Their work will be pivotal to ensure successful launch and growth of fintech businesses.
Responsibilities:
•Develop and implement comprehensive distribution strategies and integration processes to promote and increase the adoption of fintech solutions
•Work with regional/circle team, ensuring alignment with business objectives and targets
•Open new channels, expand and manage the distribution network within the region by establishing partnerships, distribution channels, and agent/ reseller networks
•Set and achieve revenue and adoption targets for fintech solutions within the region, closely monitoring performance against KPIs
•Design training and coaching materials to enhance agents/resellers product knowledge and sales skills
•Collaborate with product owner and marketing to provide input on product enhancements, marketing campaigns, and customer support strategies
•Design risk mitigation strategy to avoid potential fraud cases among agents/resellers
Key Qualities & Skills:
•Good understanding of fintech industry, including products and regulations
•Strong understanding of telco distribution network and how it operates
•Proven experience in business development and agent management
•Demonstrated ability to drive agile transformation within a team or organization
•Experience in leading cross-functional teams in an agile setting
•Excellent communication skills to engage and mobilize key stakeholders within the distribution network
•Ability to collaborate effectively with other teams (e.g., core telco distribution, marketing, product)
•Excellent leadership skills with experience in managing a large regional team
•Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
•Ability to identify potential risks and develop mitigation plan
