We are looking for an energetic and customer-focused Shop Manager to join our team in a vibrant hair salon. As a Shop Manager, you will be a key part of our team, ensuring our clients have an exceptional experience from the moment they walk in until they leave. You will assist with reception duties, product stocking, maintaining salon cleanliness, and supporting our stylists with essential tasks.
Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Greet clients warmly, provide refreshments, and ensure their comfort while they wait for appointments.
Appointment Scheduling: Assist with booking, rescheduling, and confirming client appointments using our salon software.
Product Sales and Inventory: Provide clients with product recommendations, manage product displays, and track inventory to ensure items are well-stocked.
Salon Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the salon, including sweeping floors, sanitizing stations, and restocking towels and supplies.
Support Stylists: Assist stylists with prepping and cleaning stations, washing towels, and performing other tasks as needed.
Cash Handling: Process payments, handle cash and card transactions, and manage the till as needed.
General Assistance: Answer phone calls, respond to client inquiries, and assist with other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the salon manager.
Requirements:
Previous experience in Salons, retail, hospitality, or customer service is preferred.
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required.
Interest in beauty, hair care, or fashion is a plus.
