REGIONAL SUPPLY CHAIN LEAD

Are you a strategic thinker passionate about end-to-end supply chain, from demand management, supply chain optimization, inventory management, and logistics excellence? In a newly created role at our client’s organization, you will lead the supply chain lead team across the region and will work across various levels in the organization for smooth supply chain operations.

Our client, a global healthcare organization is hiring Regional Supply Chain Lead. Based in Indonesia, our client is looking for a skilled and motivated professional to lead and enhance their Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process for finished goods across the Indonesia and Vietnam markets.

Our client welcomes candidates from any industry, strong leadership experience, and is in charge of a minimum of 200 SKUs. Ideally, you have a great communication skill to communicate effectively with multicultural key stakeholders, across various timezones.

Key Responsibilities:

Demand Management:

  • Lead and enhance the S&OP process in collaboration with Commercial teams.
  • Ensure timely and accurate 2-3 years rolling demand forecasts for all markets.
  • Facilitate demand review meetings at the regional level and provide data inputs for global reviews.

Supply Chain:

  • Act as the Supply Chain representative, resolving issues with Commercial Leads and Supply and Logistics Leaders.
  • Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies to support business growth.
  • Manage and communicate major forecast changes and exceptions within the Supply community.

Inventory Management:

  • Set target stocking levels for finished goods and optimize Months on Hand.
  • Create action plans to reduce Excess and Obsolete inventory and minimize write-offs.

Logistics Management and Cost Improvement:

  • Oversee Indonesia and Vietnam logistics operations and performance.
  • Track Logistic Service Provider performance against service levels, identifying opportunities for cost and service improvement.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement in Import, Finished Goods Warehousing, Relabeling, Market Distribution, and Export processes from the Regional Distribution Center, aligning with our client’s policies and legal requirements.
  • Ensure the effective operation of information management systems and data management processes to support key Supply and Logistics drivers for success.

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, with a preference for an advanced degree or specialized training/certification in supply, demand management, or manufacturing.
  • Over seven years of experience in demand and supply management.
  • Leadership experience in coaching and developing a team.
  • Demonstrated expertise in supply chain processes and demand management.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with sales and marketing teams to gather and utilize relevant data for managing demand forecasts.
  • Strong data analysis skills.
  • Eligible to work and live in Indonesia without a visa or document support.
