Position Overview:
Are you a procurement leader with a knack for strategic sourcing and vendor optimization? As our GM Strategic Procurement & Vendor Management, you will shape and execute sourcing strategies, drive supplier performance, and lead CAPEX procurement initiatives across diverse F&B categories. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on creating long-term value, optimizing processes, and navigating complex supplier landscapes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sourcing & Category Management:
- Lead category-specific sourcing strategies by analyzing spend data, tracking market trends, and assessing vendor performance to identify opportunities for value creation and cost savings.
- Procurement Reporting & Analysis:
- Develop and present procurement reports, dashboards, and performance analyses to inform data-driven decision-making, enhancing visibility into spending and vendor performance.
- Supplier Relationship & Risk Management:
- Drive supplier performance management, ensure Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance, and conduct regular audits to maintain high standards and proactively manage supplier risks.
- Contract Negotiation:
- Oversee vendor KYC and negotiate fixed-price contracts across all SKUs to secure favorable terms, supporting CAPEX procurement for large projects and cross-category needs in the F&B industry.
- Process Optimization & Efficiency:
- Implement procurement process improvements, increase automation, and streamline workflows to reduce costs and increase operational efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Engage with finance, operations, and other key teams to ensure alignment between procurement activities and broader business goals, contributing to overall company growth.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 12+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management, with strong experience in CAPEX projects and support across F&B-related categories.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret procurement data into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in procurement software (e.g., Oracle NetSuite, SAP, or similar platforms).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on driving efficiency, innovation, and continuous improvement.
