TUKR is a rapidly expanding renewable commodities trader with a hyper-focus on direct origination of bio-feedstock material, primarily Used Cooking Oil (UCO) for biofuel production. We develop complex supply chains within challenging locations to source UCO as a sustainable and renewable material for biofuel. About the role:

  • We are looking for an enthusiast with excellent administrative, analytical, and technical financial / accounting skills to support our team.
  • Role will be required to handle various duties and responsibilities that will manage work across different departments and take on several tasks within the accounting and finance niche.
  • The individual has to be capable of building, examining, assessing, and compiling weekly and monthly financial statements and reports.
  • To ensure success, the individual should be very detail-oriented and technically sound. They must also have strong mathematical and Microsoft excel skills.
  • Would need to be able to work independently with minimal hand-holding.
  • Knowledge in taxation aspect, such as corporate income tax, value-added tax, withholding tax, and transfer pricing will be advantage.

Job Description:

  • Taking responsibility for the planning and execution of financial duties and projects.
  • Preparing and reviewing financial statements, projections, forecast, budgeting, and financial reports for the business to ensure readiness of financial information in timely manner.
  • Drafting budgets, income statements, balance sheets, and reports required both by internal and external parties.
  • Assisting with tax returns.
  • Managing the risks involved in the financial activities of the business
  • Estimating short and long-term financial objectives and tacking company performance targets
  • Evaluate the financial performance of the organization and measure returns on investments.
  • Ad-hoc duties that will be assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Have experience in public accounting firm, big 4 will be advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards
  • Minimal five-year experience in role of accounting and financial reporting or related field
  • Experience with preparing and managing complex financial statements
  • Bachelor degree majoring in Accountancy from reputable universities.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (creating spreadsheets using financial Excel functions) and ERP systems (such as Oracle NetSuite)
  • Good in both written and spoken English
  • Comprehensive understanding of bookkeeping / accounting / finance procedures
  • Experience in building profit and loss and balance sheet from GL level
  • Time-management and organization skills with attention to detail
  • Be an analytical thinker with strong investigative and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
