We are pleased to announce an opening for the position of Legal, Claim, and Compliance Executive based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyzing claims issue and remind claimant responsibility to the claim, submit all claim requirement to Principal, and coordinating with Principal and MSC Agent worldwide to investigate the claim.
- Identifies and provides standards for gathering information for all claims, compliance, and both Export & Import Unclear-Abandoned Cargo (UAC) issues and reports information to Legal, Legal, Claim & Compliance Manager.
- Follow up claims issue regularly, including arranging survey with third-party and claimants.
- To check all requirements of sanction countries shipments to/from Indonesia, and the assigned responsibility is to check sanction booking for branch offices.
- Responds/acts on Legal, Claim & Compliance Manager direction.
- Reviewing general agreements and drafting legal documents
- Reports general Legal, Claim & Compliance issues to Legal, Claim & Compliance Manager.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in law
- Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping/forwarding/logistic industry
- Experience in handling legal and claims issues
- Performing general contracts review
- Experienced in dispute resolution/litigation would be preferable
- Understand export/import process in general. Understanding sanction compliance regulation would be advantageous.
- Preferable to understand Indonesian civil and business law. Understanding insurance law would be advantageous.
- Fluent English both oral and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
