Then come in and join our Asia Pacific team as Regional Finance (FI) Head, Diagnostics (DX) Customer Services (CS).

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Partner with CS-Lab Solutions (LS) Region Service Head and is part of DX FI leadership team in Region.
  • Accountable for achieving Regional DX Service financial KPIs (incl. revenue as integral part of overall RCOS revenue and cost targets) together with CS-LS Region Service Head.
  • Lead analysis of overall Service performance in Region incl. Zone + Region/ Zone Enablement Functions (e.g. Training Centers, etc.), and operational KPIs and drivers.
  • Lead Service Finance teams in Zones and actively participate in Global Service Finance Community.
  • Define and implement the CS-LS strategy in the Region in alignment w/ the global CS-LS strategy together with CS-LS Region Service Head; identifies service-related opportunities to enhance the Business and Service performance.
  • Orchestrate and drive regular Regional Performance Reviews together with CS-LS Region Service Head:
    • Understand market, IB and stability, headcount/ capacity development, and cost driver implications within Region.
    • Understand and support Zones/ Countries in critical customer and portfolio topics, incl. new business models.
    • Ensure the relevant topics for a Zone are being discussed, operational drivers of zone trends and corresponding risks are properly managed, ensures continuous improvement cycle for Zones and required HQ support.
    • Support commercial project management including risk management and initiatives to improve efficiency, clarity, and the corresponding financial impact of implementation; ensure implementation of risk and opportunity management and reporting, including mitigation measures.
  • Drive local implementation of process and change management as part of Service Transformation together with CS-LS Region Service Head.
  • Ensure proper consideration of Service costing and pricing (in line with local Business Area/ Business Line expectation and regional guardrails) within overall deal calculation as well as contract management within Region and supports deal building and escalation processes from Service side.
  • Drive improvement of overall business performance and is accountable for realization of Service productivity targets in Region.

Your qualifications and experiences:

  • Proven history of successful leadership within a Finance function with functional responsibility for a business with at least 8 – 10 years of experience within Performance Controlling and other Finance functions, preferably with first Direct Management or demonstrated leadership.
  • Experience in Customer Services and a good understanding of the Diagnostics business environment are required.
  • Change Driver – Promotes and adapts approach, goals, and methods to achieve solutions and results in dynamic situations and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to influence without authority and collaborate across all levels of an organization (internal and external).
  • Comfortable with working in multi-cultural environments across different countries and languages.
  • You have very good presentation skills, and you show team orientation, communication skills and customer orientation.
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required in Finance/ Business Administration, preferably supplemented with a Master/ MBA degree.
  • Willing to travel at least 20%.
  • Working Location: Australia/ China/ India/ Indonesia/ Japan/ Korea/ Malaysia/ Philippines/ Singapore/ Thailand/ Vietnam (No relocation is required)
