Job Description
- Understand the business directions and needs and assist to prioritize requirements across projects based on business direction/needs
- Define project scope, objective, governance structures, processes, and establish project lifecycle management frameworks to ensure that discipline is maintained for successful project completion in accordance to overall strategy and roadmap
- Hold accountability of multiple projects in the organization and ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget
- Reporting key progress and updates to reporting manager and management
- Collaborate with team from related parties to make sure the projects are well-executed according to the plan, including cross-functional departments (Product, Treasury, Finance, Operations, Business, Marketing, Deposit Transfer & Payment, Compliance and Risk)
- Provide support at different levels of project including coordinating activities, participating in key discussions, solutioning, and providing execution support where necessary across work streams
- Monitor progress of work streams to ensure timelines and milestones are met, outstanding items are closed off, with timely escalation of potential roadblocks and delays
- Minimum 5 years of experiences in Financial Industry (Banking, FinTech, etc.) and/or Consulting Firm along with the proven capability of strong leadership skills
- Bachelor's degree/Master's degree in Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, Finance, Engineering and other related fields
- Experience managing multiple projects, and good in coordination and communications
- Strong problem solving, quantitative, critical and logical thinking, and analysis. Ability to quickly understand/learn complex discussions and grasp the critical issues to focus on
- Creative in providing out-of-the-box solutions while remaining structured and methodical
- Able to work independently and cross-functionally and clearly identify dependencies, escalate potential roadblocks and recommend effective actions
- Fluent in both written and spoken English, excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Strong drive to make things happen and influence others.
- Growth mindset to always go the extra mile in learning and upgrading yourself, can-do attitude, be agile and flexible in adapting to a dynamic environment.
