Summary:

The Indonesia and Vietnam Supply Chain Lead is responsible for the end to end supply chain activities for Indonesia and Vietnam in Asia.
Act as Supply Chain Business partner being the single point of contact between Commercial and GMS, on demand planning and logistics operational effectiveness. Leads and drive monthly Demand Reviews, Consensus Sign Off and improves on logistics costs drivers for both Indonesia and Vietnam markets.

Responsibilities:

Demand Management

  • Lead and/or continuously improving the S&OP & S&OE process for finished goods by coordinating activities of Demand Management resources in collaboration with Commercial teams
  • Ensure all markets produce and update monthly demand planning of a rolling 24/36 months demand forecast (both volume and $) and adherence to deadlines
  • Facilitate demand review meetings at the Cluster level and provide the data and inputs for the global demand review meeting as part of the global IBP process.
  • Partner with Global NPI and local Marketing teams to support successful new product launches
  • Drive root cause analysis and implement sustainable improvement plan for Forecast Accuracy
  • Responsible for lost sales projections and mitigate backorders
  • Establish accountability for the demand plan with sales and marketing and ensure plans are signed off on a monthly basis by the Cluster VPs and GMs.

Supply Chain

  • Supply Chain market face by drive communication issue resolution process with Commercial Leads and Supply and Logistics Leaders.
  • Develop and implementing effective supply chain strategies in coordination with Customer Supply Services Leader to support the business growth
  • Manage forecast major changes/exceptions and communicate effectively inside Supply community.
  • Active participation on Supply Chain Planning forums with Platform Supply Planning colleagues
  • Review and adjust planning parameters to drive correct, timely replenishments.

Inventory Management

  • Establish finished goods target stocking levels and drive optimal Months on hand (MOH)
  • Establish action plans to reduce E&O and inventory write-off

Logistics Management and Cost Improvement

  • Responsible for logistics operations and performance
  • Measure and track LSP's operational performance and compliance against agreed service levels and identify opportunities to drive improvements in costs, leadtime, service levels
  • Develop and Monitor budgets for Indonesia and Vietnam, seeking continual process and cost improvement
  • Drive continuous improvement culture implementation on Import, FG Warehousing, Relabeling, Market distribution and Export processes from Regional Distribution Center in accordance with Zoetis policies and legal requirements
  • Ensure that information management systems, data management processes and interfaces operate appropriately to support all key Supply and Logistics drivers for success and delivery of agreed service levels in the cluster
  • Implement and maintain controls to ensure GDP compliance including cold chain monitoring aligned to Global Quality and Global Logistics guidelines.
  • Ensure consistent compliance with required regulations, policies and procedures, and Zoetis standards including e.g.: FCPA, SOX, Operations (EH&S, dangerous goods, facilities and conveyance security, Business continuity), Zoetis Operating Model, Customs and International Trade requirements.
  • Collaborate with Global Logistics Teams to support initiatives on distribution strategy, global procedures, cold chain, trade compliance.
  • Manage the dangerous goods regulations and application of the rules (ADR, IATA, etc..)
  • Work with Marketing and Sales to establish product, channel, and customer priorities to optimize the balance between Customer Service level, Profitability, and Supply Chain efficiency.

People Management and Colleague Development

  • Experienced in leading a team; driving colleague development and related discussions
Desired Skills and Experience

Education:
Undergraduate degree in engineering, business administration or logistics

Experience:
>7 years of relevant experience in demand, supply, logistics management
>4 years of experience in human/animal health or similar industry
Proven track record in end-to-end supply chain and driving cost improvements/avoidance

Skills:
Proven understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes
Proven ability to work cross-functionally with sales and marketing organizations and external LSP
Ability to work independently, in teams and influence others, as well as leading a team
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize work, goals and tasks in accordance with division and corporate objectives
Ability to analyze data and synthesize to make data driven decisions
Strong written and oral communication skills and proficiency in English
