Your Future Role

The Payroll Support Administrator is responsible for assisting the Payroll Officer to ensure timesheets, attendance auditing, absenteeism and payroll related tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner for Austin Perth from the Austin Batam, Indonesia location. Reporting to the Payroll Officer Australia and this role is to ensure all processes, policies and procedures are followed and guidelines are being adhere to at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain company Time Management System information, including reviewing and entering timesheets daily for workshop employees including direct and labor hire employees.
  • Monitor and update TMS data to reflect any changes in employee status, working hours, and leave entitlements.
  • Complete basic ADP forms as requested by the Payroll Officer, ensuring all necessary information is provided for payroll processing.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive payroll records for workshop employees, ensuring all data is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Support the onboarding process by entering all new employees into the Time Management System, including permanent staff, labor hire, and contractors.
  • Ensure that all required documentation is collected and filed, including payroll information and tax forms.
  • Ensure that all payroll processes, policies, and procedures are followed meticulously, always adhering to organizational guidelines and compliance regulations.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless payroll operations and address any discrepancies or inquiries related to employee time and attendance.
  • Provide support to the Payroll Officer in resolving payroll-related issues and answering employee queries regarding their pay and timesheets

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience

  • Business, Administration, Finance or similar
  • 5+ years of experience in HR roles with a focus on payroll, recruitment process.
  • Prior experience in finance or payroll administration is essential, demonstrating a solid understanding of payroll processes and compliance
  • Familiarity with Time Management Systems (TMS) and strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting. While Excel skills are preferred, a willingness to learn is essential
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with diverse teams and respond to employee inquiries
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, “can-do” attitude. Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage time effectively while meeting deadlines.
