The Creative Manager will develop, plan, and implement Sony Music's creative marketing and content strategy for international repertoire in the Southeast Asia (SEA) markets.

This position will play a key role in various creative marketing functions, including generating ideas and developing pitches, collaborating with agencies, and aligning efforts with Sony Music's artists' releases (recorded music). The manager will also support in-market promotional visits and assist the Head of Creative with social media strategy, short-form video initiatives, and content production (including photo, video, and digital marketing assets) to craft engaging fan experiences on behalf of some of the biggest International artists in the world.

Collaboration with SEA stakeholders will be crucial to bring the necessary creative elements to life for each campaign, reporting directly to the Head of Creative, Southeast Asia.

Additionally, the Creative Marketing Man­ager will analyze market trends and audience insights to enhance and optimize creative strategies. This encompasses conducting competitive analysis and utilizing data analytics to fine-tune messaging and content formats that effectively engage target demographics across different platforms.

What You'll Do:

• Be a creative visionary, developing and implementing innovative marketing and superfan campaigns that enhance Sony Music artists’ presence and engage fans across Southeast Asia.

• Manage relationships with external creative partners such as agencies, photographers, and production teams to deliver high-quality content and assets on time and within budget.

• Oversee the creative development process, from concept ideation, securing approvals, through to execution, ensuring that all content is aligned with artists’ and company’s guidelines and campaign objectives.

• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, pop culture, events, TikTok and online trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital marketing and creative strategy.

• Work with the insights, data, and analytics team to leverage audience data for creative design.

Translate the artist’s vision into branding outputs

• Create compelling outputs to deliver the artist’s profile and persona across different media types, including social media and streaming platforms.

• Create and maintain a content calendar that maps out campaigns, promotions, and artist activities, ensuring timely delivery of creative materials for SME International artists.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including digital, audience development and catalog, insights, local PR, and content to ensure cohesive messaging and effective execution of campaigns.

• Lead post-campaign reviews, compiling feedback and data to refine and strengthen future marketing strategies.

• Develop and produce engaging creative outputs that reflect the artist's unique identity, story, and vision across multiple platforms.

Coordinate with graphic designers, videographers, and other creatives to produce visually compelling and impactful content. Stay responsive and adaptable to the evolving needs and feedback of artists, managements, and stakeholders, continuously striving to support their growth and success in the Southeast Asia market.

Who you are:

• 6+ years’ experience managing creative campaigns from ideation to execution in the music/entertainment/film or similar creative industries.

• Passionate about the music and entertainment business and desire to build a creative career in the industry.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working in cross-functional teams.

• Take an interest in learning about the trends, culture and uniqueness of all markets across Southeast Asia

• You are hungry to learn and grow. You are curious, ask questions, get excited about new projects, and strive for excellence in work.

• Ability to articulate an idea or point of view verbally or in writing succinctly, with clarity and confidence, adapting the message to different audiences.

• Creative thinking and a passion for translating artistic vision into effective and impactful creative outputs.

• Analytical mindset with the flexibility to assess campaign performance and implement improvements.

• Ability to generate new and valuable ideas and execute them through various media and digital and non-digital platforms.

• Thorough understanding of how the various technologies that drive music consumption work and how to use them to create content and drive audience/fan engagement.

• Fluent in English.
