We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Legal and Risk Advisor to lead the legal function acros entities in Indonesia. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all legal aspects of commercial transactions, regulatory compliance, and business negotiations, with a focus on the property technology sector. Understanding of the OJK regulatory framework and experience working with regulators are essential. You will provide expert legal counsel on PropTech regulations not limiting to OJK regulation, while advising senior leadership and partnering with cross-functional teams to support business expansion.

What a day at work for you will look like:
- You will interpret OJK regulations on Property technology sector and liaise with regulators to ensure compliance with sector-specific law and regulations.
- You will lead the legal function across three entities, focusing on commercial transactional work, regulatory compliance, and advisory services.
- You will draft and review legal agreements, MoUs, and support contentious matters related to the property technology market.
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the Mortgage, Commercial, and Partnerships teams, to support business growth and expansion efforts.
- You will provide counsel on legal matters related to technology and fintech, advising on product launches, data privacy, and tech regulations.
- You will manage regulatory inquiries, coordinate with external counsel, and provide ad-hoc legal support as required.
- You will improve legal processes, implement risk mitigation projects, and lead initiatives to optimize the company’s legal framework

- Bachelor's degree in Law from a reputable university; an advanced degree in law is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in legal advisory, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance, commercial transactions, and risk management within Property Technology space, extensive experience interpreting and applying OJK regulations is a plus.
- Proven leadership skills: You have led legal functions across multiple entities and jurisdictions, managing regulatory inquiries and providing legal counsel on complex business issues.
- Project management skills: You can lead initiatives to improve legal processes and implement risk mitigation strategies, ensuring the company’s legal framework is both robust and agile.
- Strong communication skills: You are adept at liaising with regulators, managing external counsel, and supporting contentious matters.
