Responsibilities:
- Identify market opportunities, including determining which product categories to enter, scouting upcoming brands to acquire, and securing strategic partnerships or placements.
- Manage the full business development pipeline, working closely with management to handle all phases–starting from initial outreach, meetings (online/offline), pitching, negotiating, to closing the deals.
- Create pitch decks and develop sales forecasts to support partnership and brand acquisition efforts.
- Conduct preliminary market research to uncover trends, new opportunities, and competitive insights.
- Perform location surveys (optional) to explore potential retail or boutique expansion opportunities.
- Focus on multiple product categories, including fashion, watches, accessories, beauty, and future product expansions aligned with the company’s long-term strategy.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in business development, ideally in beauty, fashion, retail, luxury goods, or FMCG industries.
- Proven success in acquiring brands and forming strategic partnerships.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to pitch effectively to high-level stakeholders.
- Experience in developing pitch decks and preparing sales forecasts.
- Expertise in market research and ability to assess trends for strategic growth.
- Capable of working independently as well as within cross-functional teams.
