Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitation: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to keep the team aligned.
  • Scrum Compliance: Ensure adherence to Scrum principles, guiding the team in agile methodologies.
  • Backlog Management: Assist the product owner in maintaining a well-defined product backlog.
  • Impediment Removal: Help the team overcome obstacles and resolve conflicts to maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment where team members thrive.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track team performance and project progress, providing insights to stakeholders.
  • Coaching: Mentor team members on agile best practices, encouraging a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and agile coaches to enhance practices.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate clear communication among team members, product owners, and stakeholders.

A bit about you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 6 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar agile project management role.
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or similar agile certification.
  • Knowledge of software development processes is a plus.
  • Experience in restricted/highly regulated industries is beneficial.
  • Strong understanding of Scrum principles and agile project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
  • Familiarity with scaled agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe) and advanced certifications (e.g., Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) are highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Experience coaching and mentoring team members in agile practices.
