Founded in 2018, KIRI specialised in architectural lighting design service and consultancy. We craft lighting design to integrate seamlessly into architecture and built environment. We believe good lighting will benefit people well-being and it should be enforced in the early stage of designing a new project.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role located in Jakarta Metropolitan Area, with flexibility for some remote work. The Lighting Designer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with lighting design, including but not limited to, developing concept ideas, designing lighting schemes, lighting controls, and selecting material specifications. The Lighting Designer will also work on project management, team collaborations as well as client liaison.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years prior role as Lighting Designer
- Experience designing and managing medium to large-scale retail, hospitality, and commercial projects
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field. Higher education in Lighting Design is preferable
- Able to lead designers in daily tasks and communicate externally with project team
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Ample knowledge in CAD, Adobe design, Dialux, and Mac softwares
Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include, but are not limited to, branding design, knowledge of sustainable lighting solutions, proficiency in 3D modeling software, and experience in site-specific implementation of lighting design schemes.
