Responsibilities
- Lead the sales team to achieve company goals and targets effectively.
- Set individual sales objectives for team members to ensure clear expectations and accountability.
- Oversee the progress towards sales objectives, report on outcomes as needed, and manage the team's activities and performance.
- Develop the skills of the sales team through training, motivation, guidance, and education on product knowledge.
- Identify, prioritize, and secure new merchant partnerships in line with company goals.
- Engage with prospective merchants to understand their business operations, challenges, and needs, and then present or demonstrate relevant products.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Communications, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Manager with a demonstrable track record of success throughout the sales cycle, from planning to closing.
- Experience in sales management, organizational skills, and leadership qualities are advantageous.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills are essential for achieving targets and collaborating effectively with partners and colleagues at all levels.
- A self-driven approach is necessary for independently conducting canvassing initiatives within your region.
- An adaptable personality is crucial for thriving in a fast-paced environment and managing a demanding workload effectively.
- Previous experience in a startup or tech company is highly preferred.
